moe. Takes Four Sets as Adirondack Independence Reveals Its 2024 Lineup

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. — The Adirondack Independence Music Festival revealed its 2024 lineup on July 8, 2024, setting a Labor Day weekend bill at the Festival Commons in Charles R. Wood Park.

The ninth annual edition runs August 30 to September 1, with moe. headlining for the second consecutive year. The band will play four sets over two nights.

Nearly two dozen bands perform across two side-by-side stages, with music running from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and from noon to 11 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Two full sets from Melvin Seals & JGB

Melvin Seals & JGB play two full sets over the weekend, and Yonder Mountain String Band takes a headline set of its own.

The rest of the bill is Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime, Pink Talking Fish, Spafford, lespecial, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Moon Hooch, RAQ, Cool Cool Cool, Lucid, Hayley Jane (Live Band), Wild Adriatic, Bella’s Bartok, YAM YAM, Kendall Street Company, Strange Machines, The Frank White Experience (Notorious B.I.G. Tribute), Crooked Coast and One Time Weekend.

The Lake George Examiner described the festival as “touted as Lake George’s biggest party of the year.”

A second New York State run for Cosmic Country

Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country arrives at Lake George after a July spent touring New York State, playing four dates in the state as direct support on moe.’s Best.Summer.Ever tour. The Labor Day booking puts the two bands on the same site again before the summer ends.

Fireworks on Saturday night

A fireworks display over Lake George is set for Saturday, August 31.

General admission is free for children 12 and under. General Admission and VIP weekend passes are sold through TheTicketingCo.

The festival’s recent editions

The 2024 weekend follows the 2022 edition and the 2021 edition of the Lake George festival.
