LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. — The Adirondack Independence Music Festival marks its 10th anniversary from Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31, 2025, taking over Labor Day weekend at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George Village.
moe. headlines for the fifth year in a row, playing two sets a night across two of the three nights. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong also plays two sets, on Sunday.
Music runs continuously across two side-by-side stages until 11 p.m. each night, starting at 1 p.m. Friday and at noon Saturday and Sunday on the park’s 2.5-acre Festival Commons.
The rest of the bill
Robert Randolph is on the announced lineup, along with Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense with the Ocean Avenue Stomper Horns, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Spafford, Neighbor, Ryan Montbleau Band, Bumpin Uglies and LaMP, featuring Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger and Ray Paczkowski.
Also billed are Bearly Dead, Annie in the Water, The Big Takeover, Sicard Hollow, Creamery Station, Johnny Mullenax, Organ Fairchild, Leon Trout and Sly Fox and the Hustlers. The announcement noted that more artists were still to be revealed.
Two side projects on the weekend
moe. guitarist Al Schnier and drummer Vinnie Amico stage a rare performance of their Bob Dylan tribute, bob.
moe. keyboardist Nate Wilson appears as well with his own band, Ghosts of Jupiter. Wilson joined moe. in 2023 and made his studio debut with the band on Circle of Giants, released at the start of the same year.
A fifth straight year for the headliner
moe.’s return continues a pattern that has held through recent editions of the festival, including the 2024 bill. Live For Live Music describes the band as Buffalo-born, which keeps the festival’s top billing in New York State hands for its anniversary year.
Practical details
Children under 12 are admitted free. The festival traditionally offers views of the Lake George fireworks on Saturday night.
GA and VIP weekend passes are sold through The Ticketing Co.
