Adirondack Independence Returns to Lake George With moe. and Twiddle

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. — The Adirondack Independence Music Festival confirmed its 2021 lineup on July 7, returning to the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons over Labor Day weekend, September 3 through 5.

moe. anchors the weekend with two nights of two sets each, and Twiddle plays two sets of its own.

The festival grounds are at 17 West Brook Road in Lake George, in Warren County.

Who else is on the bill

The announcement also carries Roots of Creation, Kung Fu, Lucid, Bella’s Bartok, Eggy, Neighbor, Dogs In A Pile, Annie In The Water, Baked Shrimp and Hartley’s Encore.

The 2021 edition adds a one-off: Prince Bowie, a collaborative tribute to the music of Prince and David Bowie featuring members of Pink Talking Fish, Snarky Puppy, Kung Fu and others. JamBase lists the participants as Eric Gould, Richard James, Cal Kehoe, Adrian Tramontano, Mike “Maz” Maher, Matt Wayne and Shannon Lynch.

How the three days break out

Saturday, September 4 carries moe., Roots of Creation, Bella’s Bartok, Dogs In A Pile, Escaper and Raisinhead.

Sunday, September 5 closes with moe., Kung Fu, Neighbor, Annie in the Water and Marble Eyes.

GA and VIP three-day passes are sold through SimpleTix, with GA listings ranging from $55.00 to $315.00.

VIP tickets are limited and include admission to all three days, a meal each day, snacks and half-priced adult beverages.

Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult.

An Upstate calendar coming back

The Lake George weekend is one of several Upstate New York events returning to their grounds in 2021, alongside the GrassRoots Festival Weekend in Trumansburg in July and Borderland at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora later in September.
