Dead and Company Summer Tour 2017
Get ready to shake and rattle those ole’ bones boys and girls because Dead and Company will hitting the rode for a 20 day run. The trek will have them starting out May 27th at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena and wrapping up July 1st in Chicago’s Wrigley Field. This will be the band’s third year touring since the bands inception back in 2015.
The band is comprised of 3 former members of the Grateful Dead. Mickey Hart on drums/percussion joined by follow Rythem Devil Bill Kreutzmann performing on the same and Bob Weir playing rhythm guitar plus singing lead/backing vocals. Also coming along for the ride will be John Mayer on lead guitar while singing lead/backing vocals. , Oteil Burbridge will be performing on bass guitar, percussion and joning in on backing vocals. Finally, there is Jeff Chimenti, the bands sensational keyboardsist whocontribute in on the backing vocals.
As a band, these guys have come together nicely over the course of the last 3 years. Their shows are still always interesting because you never know what they are gonna play on a given night because of the ever changing set list. So, no two shows are ever them same musically. So, grab your camping gear and pack up the VW Bus. It’s time to hit the rode and join the traveling circus on one of it’s many stops throughout their summer tour.
