Buffalo Place Rocks The Harbor

BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo Place has announced their first two concerts of 2011. The highly acclaimed Grateful Dead cover band Dark Star Orchestra will perform with special guest Soul Live on Friday June 24th and Grammy winning artist Elvis Costello & the Imposters  will perform on Saturday June 25th.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 15th and will be available on Friday through Ticketmaster by clicking here or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Originally launched in 1998 as a celebration of Buffalo’s Inner Harbor Redevelopment Project, past performers such as Violent Femmes, Umphrey’s McGee, Gov’t Mule, moe., & The Black Crowes have rocked the harbor. The event is part of the Buffalo Place Summer Concert Series, which includes Thursday at the Square. These events draw record crowds into Downtown Buffalo and create spin-off business for bars, restaurants and dance clubs.
